The Trustees have put in place the following initial donations and support using the funds raised by Sunrise Sunset 2011

£10K to Bobby Moore Fund/Cancer Research UK a clinical trial to improve bowel cancer treatment. Read more >
£10K to Cancer Research UK: Skin Cancer : predicting the future. Read more >
£10K to Breast Cancer Care which will include funding the telephone support work as provided by their volunteers.
£10K to Macmillan Cancer Support. £10,000 could pay for four Macmillan cancer information and support officers for a month, meaning more people affected by cancer will have someone to answer their questions and talk to about their concerns.
£10K to The Prostate Cancer Charity to support their awareness work.

Thank you to all the fund raisers and supporters for helping to make a difference.

A charity formed by windsurfers to raise cancer awareness and so promote early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles, to reduce the incidence of the disease. And through specific projects raise funds for cancer research, education and support (see Objectives in "about W4CR").

W4CR aims to increase survival rates by educating the public (through the windsurfing fraternity), with an improved understanding of cancer.
